Induction Heating Systems

Rapid Heat Systems specialise in Induction Heating.

We can provide a different size and type of machine that will suit every heat treatment requirement.

Main Equipment

Our two main systems are: -

Rapid Heat 35 - provides 35kw of Induction Heating Power with a top temperature of 788⁰C.

This system is available with various types of heating elements.

Rapid Heat 3.5provides 3.5kw of Induction Heating Power with a top temperature of 700⁰C.

This system is best suited to smaller sized jobs (to a maximum of ø350mm) and has the option to be connected to resistance pads if required.

Heating Elements

Our equipment works using various different types of Heating Hoses (air-cooled or liquid-cooled), Coils and Clamps

The type of heating element that is selected is based on each individual job.  Our engineers will discuss in full all requirements, specifications and targets prior to work commencing to ensure that the equipment you receive is correct and suited to the job in hand.

Temperature Recording

We have the following equipment available to use alongside our Heating Systems to record, save, print and analysis the data collected for process and legislation purposes.

Rapid Recorder – 18 Point Paperless Graphic Recorder

Rapid Welder Units

Other available heating units

70kw Induction Heating Unit – This system is ideally suited to bolt heating, as it is used with various shaped wands for more specific heating areas; however we have also used it in the past in conjunction with our Rapid Heat 35 to provide extra localised heat when required.

Resistance Transformer – Although not our preferred choice, we can provide resistance equipment to work alongside our induction heating units.

Rapid Heat Furnaces – All of our furnaces are tailor-made to meet customers’ needs.

Service & Calibration

All our equipment is serviced, tested, checked and calibrated before it leaves our premises and will be sent to you with relevant certification.

If you have one of our systems on long term hire we will visit your site free of charge to carry out routine services and calibrations as required.  In the case of a breakdown we will supply a new replacement unit within 24 hours and ensure that you always have the most up to date technology available.
